Twisted Microfiction Chapter-Starter: Haven

Amidst the chaos of working on Project Pharaoh, it became clear that a bond of genuine affection had formed between Dr. Cassandra Ledford and Director Tzu He. The lab was their haven.

These 32 words work as the first two sentences in a new chapter for a WIP. Team Netherworld is grateful for these prompts as they helped bust a block as to how the new chapter should start.
