Carpe Diem Summer Love + The Tuesday Platform: Love is Love on a Hot Summer Night

Can you tell me why
It troubles you so badly
To see him love him
Perhaps you would do better
To concern you with yourself

  1. Opinions. We all have them, and they should so often be kept to ourselves.

    (Shakespeare)
    That wont happen. dear.
    Why? I love you
    and I wont quit
    fighting for your
    salvation even after I'm dead
    even if you wont.
    God bless you.

    1. Um...what?
The only reason I published this (which seems to be Spam 4 Christ) word salad is because I'm hoping someone can explain it to me.
I recognize the Shakespeare bit, but the rest of it is a bit, shall we say, indescribable.
I find it telling that you would leave this blurb on a poem about acceptance. I say this to you. If your religion demands that you hate someone because of who they are or who they love, I postulate to you that your religion is the problem.
I'm not worried about salvation from your god. I don't believe in your god.

“Live a good life. If there are gods and they are just, then they will not care how devout you have been, but will welcome you based on the virtues you have lived by. If there are gods, but unjust, then you should not want to worship them. If there are no gods, then you will be gone, but will have lived a noble life that will live on in the memories of your loved ones.” --Marcus Aurelius
